Welcome to the Trackable Links tab! This guide will walk you through the various features and functionalities available within the page.
Description: On this page, the created trackable links are displayed in a table with eight columns: Locked, Name, Created On, Status, purls, Clicks, View Report, Actions. Users can search for trackable links based on the trackable link name or the uploader. Users can also apply filters on tags.
Usage: This page shows trackable links created on the Create purls page. Users can also perform actions on trackable links. These actions include Download Clicks Reports, Download Original trackable link, Download Processed trackable link, Copy, and Delete.
Edit a Draft Trackable Link: By clicking the "Edit Draft" icon located in the Actions column, users will be directed to the Create Purl page. On this page, users can modify all trackable link data and incorporate a new file alongside the existing one, thus facilitating the creation of a new trackable link.
Copy a Trackable Link: By clicking on the "Copy" icon in the Actions column, users will be redirected to a Create Purls page with all fields apart from the file upload pre-populated with all the existing trackable link data. They can then add a new data file and edit these fields if required create new trackable link.Users have the option to save the copied trackable link as a draft by simply clicking the "save" button. In cases where the copied trackable link hasn't been published yet, it will be automatically saved as a draft trackable link.
Edit a Trackable Link: By clicking on the "Add Data (+)" symbol in the Actions column, users will be directed to the Edit purls page.
The Edit purls page allows users to:
1. Add New Files: Users can upload additional files containing unique IDs to be included in the existing trackable link. These new files will be processed to generate personalised URLs (purls) for the newly added unique IDs, expanding the scope of the trackable link.
Please ensure that your new data is in line with the file requirements, ie:
Must include a header in cell A1 called Unique ID
Must be a CSV or Excel format
Should not have any duplicate Unique ID
2. Add Tags: Users can add tags to the existing trackable link to categorise and organise it for better management. Tags provide a convenient way to group related campaigns based on common characteristics or platforms, such as Facebook, Youtube, SMS, etc.
By utilising the Edit purls page, users can easily extend and enhance their existing trackable links, ensuring that all new data is incorporated and properly tagged for effective tracking and analysis.
Publish Trackable Link: Clicking this button allows the user to publish the draft trackable link.
Package: In the Shell Package, the user can not access the create purls feature. The Oyster Package, Pearl Package, and Pearl Pro Package can have access to the view report page.
